Harrison shoot!

Hello internet!

So I have been meaning to blog for the last couple of days .. I finally got round to re-shooting some Harrison photos. I think that the shoot went well. I was filmed in the studio this time by my good friend Abbie!! I am currently vlogging about using the studio for one of my uni projects. Unfortunately its deadline week at uni so haven't really got round to editing many, but after Tuesday I will probably blog with my new edits.



I have tried to light the images better this time. So hopefully they will be an improvement from the last time in the studio. When I get to spend more time looking through them hopefully I'll be able to see if they have. I think that is it for updates. I think its time to catch some Zzs.

Hey internet!

I finally finished and made the calendar for the rugby team. I think it was fairly successful, though I don't like some of the photos. It was fun to organise and put together though, so its all gravey!! I Have another photoshoot with Mr. Nash on Friday.



I want to improve the studio suit shots! I've booked the studio for longer so will have more time to play with lighting. I'm hoping my shots will come out better!! But time will tell!

Rugby Calendar

So i'm Sat in the library on a Sunday afternoon -what does that mean?! Blog time! Hey internet, i've decided that it's time to do another blog. Firstly I am going to try and improve my writing on this as all I seem to do are short sentences and '!!!'. Secondly I actually have news about the rugby calendar! (it was needed there). We stared shooting for it on Thursday, it went okay and we've got a few ideas, but I don't think we can use any of the photos that we have taken. Though the rugby team seem to find them hilarious I don't think people will actually pay for the photos of them. Don't get my wrong some of the photos came out great they just need to be smartened up a little but but others just don't look right. So tonight we are going to work on a schedule and actually get down to creating this calendar.

The editing of Harrison's photos is not going well. I have a couple more to edit, but i'm still fighting with photoshop to do it, also I have been catching up on work and been taking photos for the calendar.

I've started a vlog for one of my modules, I'm talking about my studio photography in hopes that I will get feedback and comments so that I can improve my skills in the studio. Check it out!

I'll keep you updated on how the calendar shoot goes and hopefully will have some more studio shots up soon.

Photo shoot!

Hello Internet!! So I have given up on the idea that I am not going to blog in the early hours of the morning! Today I did the photo shoot with my friend Harrison. I think it went really well, he was really good at understanding what positioning I wanted. Some of his expressions were fantastic! I'm really grateful that I will be working with him again in the near future! I need to work on a few of my ideas and re-shoot and do some different things as well! I've only edited a couple of photos so far. Im currently at war with my photoshop! It seems to be doing something fine with one photo and then just doesn't do the same thing for another! I know its just me doing something wrong! But I'm taking a break and ill try and figure it out later!! But I was really happy with the way some photos turned out so far!

Ohhh there's news on the calendar shoot apparently It is apparently happening tomorrow!! but im guessing it wont happen again. Especially as I was told last night that it might be happening today! hmmm my blogs are really shit! Ah well here are some of today's photos:

So that calendar shoot didn't happen! However am doing the photo shoot with my friend on Wednesday! So hopefully that will turn out well! I have a few ideas - so watch this space! I've been practising in photoshop again I carried on editing one of my photos!!!

I'm back so soon! After promising myself last time that I would not blog in the early hours of the morning! So here I am less caffeine hyped than last night. Earlier in the week i volunteered to help take photos for the rugby team calendar. This is probably one of those ideas that kind of fizzle out and never happen! But here's hoping! It should be on this Monday but it will probably turn out that I am not needed or something. However If I am I hope it will go well and should be quite exciting to take part in!! Well this turned out to be less interesting than I thought! But wanted to make a note of it - something to look back to to see if it actually happened! hmmmm I use exclamation marks a lot!! But yeah im exxccciittteeeddd so hope it happens!! I've been practising in photoshop today coz that's what all the cool kids do!! anywho here is a portrait that I've been editing:

First Post!

Hello internet!! I have come to the conclusion that I have no faith in my photography skills! This is not good as photography is something that I want to peruse. I have put off going into the uni studio due to lack of confidence! However, I have bitten the bullet and have finally arranged a photo shoot with my friend! I have no idea how it is going to turn out and im hoping for the best! If by any chance well a BIG chance anybody comes across this blog I would love feedback!
