Photoshoots

Hi internet,

I've been quite busy recently with uni work and stuff.. I did go to the studio a couple of weeks ago but it was very successful. Since then I have done a few practice photoshoots for my dissertation. I definitely need to work on my direction skills but here's a few photos from them.

Blog time!

Hi internet! I've been busy the last couple of weeks, I've done a bit of baby portraiture and moved into my new house at uni all in one week. Now that I am all sorted I thought that I would show a few pics of my shots. I'm booking the studio at uni this week so hopefully will have some more pictures soon. X

Told you I would be back and as I promised I have lots of photos for you today! I had the photoshoot with Jen which had a slow start but once we got going we got some really good photos. I'm hoping to have another photoshoot with her soon, as today went really well. yeahhhhhhhhhh photo dump:

Hey it has been ages! How are you internet my friend? Okay okay I will get better at this I will!! Quite a lot has happened since we last spoke ... I've been on a studio course which taught me a lot. I also have bought my own studio kit which i have set up and have been practicing with. I was meant to go on another photography course on Tuesday,it was one that I had booked for June but had to be moved - and now its been canceled. So I'm having shitty luck with it. I was really looking forward to that one as it wasnt as basic as the other course so I could have really learned a lot. Shit happens.

Anyways I will update this soon hopefully with photos from my studio sessions, I'm practicing with my friend Jenny on Monday so hopefully I'll have some of them up soon.

I'm on my dad computer today so I cant photo dump you - sorry!

It's been a while!

Hello internet its been a while! How have you been? So i've been slow on this whole blogging thing! Buttttt I have finished my second year at uni now and have no more work do to for a whole summer. I've got a few photo ideas in the pipe work at the moment which I will hopefully get onto in the next couple of weeks.

This summer should be quite good I have booked on to two studio courses which i'm really looking forward to. Alsoo I have entered a photography competition well signed up to I have entered anything yet, but I have till 1st December to upload ten portraits. Lots of time to practice over the summer! plussss Sun :) On a different note I went to Plymouth Barbican the other day it was nice.

Hey internet,

I finally got round to editing the Harrison pictures. I won the war with my photoshop and also learnt layer masks and curves along the way, which I have been practising with. I was really pleased with how the pictures turned out, and as always some of Harrison's expressions were fantastic! Here are some of the pictures:












I'm really pleased with the way the third picture down turned out and the one with the black backdrop. I'm hoping to some more creative portraits when i'm back at uni in a couple of weeks!!!

Hello internet!

So I have been meaning to blog for the last couple of days .. I finally got round to re-shooting some Harrison photos. I think that the shoot went well. I was filmed in the studio this time by my good friend Abbie!! I am currently vlogging about using the studio for one of my uni projects. Unfortunately its deadline week at uni so haven't really got round to editing many, but after Tuesday I will probably blog with my new edits.



I have tried to light the images better this time. So hopefully they will be an improvement from the last time in the studio. When I get to spend more time looking through them hopefully I'll be able to see if they have. I think that is it for updates. I think its time to catch some Zzs.
